On Monday, July 13, 2026, the Information and Communication Technology Center organized a training session on hydrology and system usage under the project for the development of a mathematical modeling system for forecasting rainfall and runoff in Thai river basins. The training took place in Room 409, 4th Floor, Computer Service Center, Kasetsart University (Bangkok), Bangkok.

          Mr. Worawit Chaiwimolkul, Director of the Information and Communication Technology Center, presided over the opening ceremony of the training course. Officials from the central office of the Department of Water Resources, as well as staff from Water Resources Offices 2, 6, and 7, participated in the training.

          The objective of this training is to enhance knowledge in hydrology and develop skills in using mathematical modeling systems for rainfall and runoff forecasting among personnel of the Department of Water Resources. This will improve the efficiency of data analysis and water situation forecasting, and support accurate, precise, and timely management of the country's water resources, thereby enhancing preparedness for floods and droughts.
